So has anyone ever heard of murder run? Ssundee does it and it's a great game! I personally think that mineplex could, with some work, create it! I can't explain all of the bits and pieces it has but if you want to learn, just search, Ssundee murder run, on YouTube.
What's on your mind?

Happy weekend,
While I was trying to find out ways to customize the wiki navigation the other day, I stumbled onto the completely unrelated list of "JavaScript enhancements" and became completely obsessed with them for about two days. The end result is that I've gone through pretty much all of the entries on the list, picked and tested out anything that caught my eye, and chose about 20 of them for my personal use (view the full list here). Most of them are fairly specific to my insanity and power user wants, but there are five of them that I think would make good additions to the wiki.
For the unacquainted, JavaScript enhancements entail adding a bit of code to MediaWiki:Common.js, Special:Mypage/global.js, or some other variant (all listed here). The code, while nonessential, will then hopefully serve to improve your wiki experience in some way, be it marking a page for deletion without clicking the edit button, adding a category to a list of pages all at once, or even fixing some bugs. Without further ado, here they are:
Name | Purpose |
---|---|
Countdown | Adds a countdown timer to the specified time. While there's nothing specific that comes to mind as to what we could use this enhancement for, I can see it being useful for a countdown to some sort of event. |
RedirectManagement | Automatically fixes broken and double redirects for you, at the click of a button. Traditionally, you would have to slog through the entire list yourself, manually editing or deleting each page so that they would link properly. |
ReferencePopups | Creates a Wikipedia-esque hovering box for inline citations/references when you mouse over one of them. Saves the need for having to scroll back up when you click on one of those links. |
SignatureCheck | Warns you if you forget to sign a talk page comment (the ~~~~ thing that you have to attach to the end of all your replies). A minor annoyance, but one worth fixing I think.
|
WallGreetingButton | Did you know that at the top of your message wall, you can include a custom message to all viewers welcoming them or informing them of something? (See example here.) You probably don't, as the functionality is located in the incredibly obscure [[Message Wall Greeting:<username>]] page. The WallGreetingButton enhancement adds an edit link to the top of your message wall, for far easier access.
|
The code for all the JavaScript would go into the MediaWiki:Common.js page, shown below (comments are to improve readability):
importArticles({ type: 'script', articles: [ 'u:dev:Countdown/code.js', // Auto-countdown to time specified. 'u:dev:RedirectManagement/code.js', // Auto-fixes broken and double redirects. 'u:dev:ReferencePopups/code.js', // Creates floating box when hovering over citation. 'u:dev:SignatureCheck/code.js', // Warns users who forget to sign talk page replies. 'u:dev:WallGreetingButton/code.js', // Adds button to edit top wall greeting. ] });
That just about does it. Let me know if you think we should add these enhancements, or if you're still confused. Thanks for reading through my speech!

Hello, I want to suggest that Mineplex add their own version of the Maze Runner mini game. It is a type of mini game based on the book and movie. Another server had a mini game of Maze Runner and it was really popular but the server is not big. I believe that the Maze Runner would go great with the Mineplex server and would be a ton of fun. Thanks for reading!
Informal observation/suggestion:
Some of the templates use the Ubuntu font, while the rest of the wiki uses the Helvetica font. Does anyone think that we should just stick with one or the other or continue this dichotomy? Please share your thoughts below.
Thanks,

This is a simple suggestion.
If a staff member (Admin, Burecraut, Mod, anything) is inactive here for over 8 months, they get demoted. This is in order to clear spots for other people who might want to apply but are unable to due to spots blocked by inactive people.
What do you think? Leave your thoughts below!
I was kinda wondering if the wiki home page highlights should be updated with more recent stuff, like how clans got released so that the highlights look more up to date.
Just wondering ^.^
I noticed that the staff lists on the wiki have not been updated for awhile. If they won't be updated, then why are they here?
