Cosmetics menu, Mineplex server

Particle Effects are reusable, persistent Cosmetics that produce a visual effect around the player in either the Main Lobby, the Waiting Lobby, or a game. Particle Effects can be found in Treasure Chests, from Carl the Creeper, and from rank purchases.

All Particle Effects are Rare or Legendary finds, based on Treasure Chest item rarities.

Particle Effects earned through regular play anytime in the year. Unlock methods include opening Old, Ancient, Mythical, and Illuminated Treasure Chests and leveling up for Level Rewards.

Shadow Walk "In a world where footprints do not exist, leaving your shadow behind is the next best thing!" Generates smoke (smoke) particles behind the player's feet. Emerald Twirl "With these sparkles, you can sparkle while sparkle [sic] with CaptainSparklez!"[note 1] Generates green villager trading (happy_villager) particles that spiral up and down around the player. Part of the Emerald Set, along with the Green Arrows, Green Death, and Green Jump Cosmetics; equipping a complete set doubles the amount of points earned toward the Gem Collector Title track. Rain Cloud "Bring your sadness wherever you go, with your very own portable rain cloud!" Generates cloud (cloud) particles above the player that rain down dripping water (dripping_water) particles. Part of the Howling Winds Set, along with the Rain Arrows, Gloomy Death, and Wet Leap Cosmetics; equipping a complete set doubles the player's speed in Lobbies. Treasure Chests
Blood Helix "Blood magic is very dangerous… but also very cool!" Generates a pair of redstone dust (dust) particles that spiral up and down around the player. Part of the Blood Set, along with the Bloody Arrows, Gory Blood Death, and Bloody Leap Cosmetics; equipping a complete set doubles the amount of points earned toward the Warrior Title track. Enchanted "The wisdom of the universe suddenly finds you extremely attractive, and wants to 'enchant' you." Generates enchanting table (enchant) particles around the player that then move toward the center of the player's body. Part of the Wisdom Set, along with the Smart Arrows, Death of Wisdom, and Leap of Wisdom Cosmetics; equipping a complete set doubles the amount of points earned toward the Treasure Hunter Title track. Music "♫ Don't stop the beat! / Can't control my feet! ♫"[note 2] Generates note (note) particles around the player. Part of the Ultimate Music Collection Set, along with the Music Arrows, Musical Death, and Musical Leap Cosmetics; equipping a complete set doubles the amount of points earned toward the Peaceful Title track. Cupid's Love "Share the love you feel in your heart with everybody near you!" Generates heart (heart) particles around the player. Part of the Lovely! Set, along with the Cupid's Arrows, Cupid's Broken Heart, and Cupid's Wings Cosmetics; equipping a complete set doubles the amount of points earned toward the Holiday Cheer Title track. Yin and Yang "Achieve the balance of the universe and watch it spin beneath your feet." Generates a yin and yang symbol that rotates around the player's feet, composed of black (squid_ink) and white (firework) particles. Part of the Balance Set, along with the Simple Geometry, Everlasting Balance, and Balanced Leap Cosmetics; equipping a complete set replaces the existing Yin and Yang Particle Effect with a rainbow-colored version. Pixie Wings "Most kinds of pixies steal coins from weary travelers, but this kind just looks fabulous." Generates wings of pink and cyan (poof) particles behind the player. Treasure Chests

Blaze rod Flame Rings "Forged from the blazing rods of 1000 Blazes [sic] by the infamous Nether King." Generates two intersecting rings of flame (flame) particles around the player, each angled 45° from the ground. Treasure Chests
Flame Fairy "HEY! LISTEN! / HEY! LISTEN! / HEY! LISTEN!"[note 3] Generates a trail of flame (flame) and lava (lava) particles above the player's head and plays a lava extinguishing (block.lava.extinguish) sound effect. Treasure Chests
Macaw Wings "Show off your dazzling colors with this amazing set of parrot wings!" Generates wings of rainbow (poof) particles behind the player.[note 4] Level 90 reward

Mineplex Cape "This is a real super hero cape!" Generates a cape with a Mineplex logo, both composed of gray and orange (poof) particles, behind the player. Treasure Chests
Legendary Hero "Rumor has it that a legendary hero once used these to save a far away [sic] kingdom." Generates a shield composed of red, yellow, blue, and gray (poof) particles and a sword composed of yellow, dark blue, and gray (poof) particles behind the player.[note 9] Treasure Chests
Wolf Tail "On all levels except physical." Generates a wolf tail composed of gray and white (smoke) particles behind the player. Treasure Chests
Witch's Curse "A [sic] said I put a curse on yee." Generates purple (witch) particles behind the player's feet when walking and around the player when stationary. Level 40 reward
Trail of the Rainbow "Did you know Unicorn [sic] farts seem [sic] like flowers? The More You Know."[note 10] Generates transparent multicolor spiral (effect) particles that emanate from the player. Treasure Chests
Deep Sea Swirl "Under the sea!!" Generates a spinning spiral, with three branches, of light blue, dark blue, and aqua (poof) particles beneath the player's feet. Treasure Chests
Colliding Colors "The legendary mage Azmah spent years trying to infuse these two super powers." Generates red (dust) and light blue (poof) particles that slowly spiral up around the player until they collide above the player's head, producing purple (witch) particles that slowly descend toward the ground.
